The Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the RNM, organized a working meeting with representatives from the Port of Kavala, Greece, attended by around ten Macedonian export companies.
The meeting was opened by Dr. Jelisaveta Georgieva Joveveska, Vice President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, who expressed gratitude to the participating companies for their interest in utilizing the services of the Port of Kavala.
Angelos Vlachos, Executive Director of the Kavala Port Authority, presented the opportunities and benefits offered by the port. He noted that the port is currently state-owned but is planned for privatization at the beginning of next year. Vlachos also highlighted that the port has the capacity to meet company needs, offering faster and more competitive services for all types of transport except container shipping.
The Chamber is continuously working on activities to open new opportunities and enhance the competitive advantages of Macedonian export companies. This includes promoting Macedonian products on international markets through networking, establishing trade partnerships, and increasing the visibility and recognition of our goods abroad.
All companies interested in expanding their cooperation with the Port of Kavala are encouraged to contact the Chamber. We are ready to connect them, assist in finding suitable partners, and explore new opportunities.
